Relatives of 10-Year-Old Girl in Coma Involved in Accident: Details
Today, September 24, a major car accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 10:50 AM, vehicles of the "Dodge" and "UAZ" brands collided on the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway in the administrative area of Pokr Vedi. This was reported by shamshyan.com.
According to a photojournalist at the scene, three individuals have been taken to the Vedi Medical Center with varying degrees of injuries. The first to assist the injured were bystanders, and according to local residents, emergency medical teams from the Vedi Medical Center arrived promptly.
As a result of the collision, the "UAZ" veered into the oncoming lane and ended up overturned in a field. Firefighters have disconnected the power supply to the vehicles and secured the gas cylinder while maintaining a presence at the scene.
Information about the accident has been relayed from the Ararat Department of the Police to the Vedi Investigative Division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, where an investigative team has arrived. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the accident, with efforts underway to establish the identities of the driver and the injured parties.
Several residents gathered at the scene reported that those in the "Dodge" included relatives of a 10-year-old girl, E. S., who has been in a coma at the "Holy Mother of God" Medical Center for six days following injuries sustained at Vedi Secondary School No. 2.
As previously mentioned, the child was transferred to the specified medical center from the Vedi Medical Center.
