YouTube Monetization Activation Issues: Google Delegation Visits Armenia

The Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mekhitar Hayrapetyan, has received a delegation from Google, making its first official visit to Armenia with the aim of enhancing cooperation with the company.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for more effective collaboration with Google, addressed the activation of YouTube monetization in Armenia, and talked about issues related to the accuracy of Google Maps.

“Google’s various services are available in our country, but we see greater potential for developing bilateral relations in areas ranging from cloud services to the implementation of artificial intelligence in various sectors,” emphasized Hayrapetyan.

Representatives from the company, while addressing the prerequisites and opportunities for collaboration, presented their proposals ranging from cultural preservation to the technological field, particularly highlighting the role and significance of human resources in Armenia.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed hope for the realization of the agreements reached and for strengthening and developing bilateral cooperation in the future.
