Ukrainian Drones Strike Hospital in Kherson Region, Casualties Reported

Ukrainian forces have carried out a drone strike on a hospital in the city of Alyoshki, Kherson region, resulting in casualties. This was reported by the regional governor, Vladimir Saldo, on his Telegram channel.

“Five drones attacked the central regional hospital in Alyeshkov. A nurse was injured, and the hospital facilities, including the pediatric department and the operating room, suffered damage. First aid was administered to the woman,” wrote Saldo.

The governor is confident that the enemy is targeting infrastructure to devastate the city. He clarified that this hospital was not a military facility; it was merely receiving local residents. Saldo promised that the authorities would restore the damage and strengthen air defense efforts in the area.

Additionally, it is noteworthy that Russian forces in Donbas are escalating offensive operations towards the transport hub of Pokrovsk. They have captured Novogrodivka, a critical stronghold for Pokrovsk, and are now just 10 kilometers away from it.

The population of Pokrovsk and neighboring Myrnohrad is being evacuated en masse.
