The battles in the Pokrovsk direction are "exceptionally heavy." This was stated by the Commander of Ukraine's Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi. According to him, the situation in this area is currently the most complex.

"The fighting is extremely fierce. The enemy is deploying everything that can move and attack, trying to break through our forces' defenses. Our soldiers demonstrate bravery and heroism in battles against the enemy's superior forces," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
