At approximately 8:30 AM, 65-year-old Garegin M. from the Ararat region lost control of his 'Infiniti' vehicle on the Ararat-Getazat highway. The car veered into the oncoming traffic lane, collided with an earth embankment, crossed over a stream, and ended up flipped over in a private land area.

The driver died on the spot, while the passenger was transported to Artashat Medical Center. Following the incident, a criminal investigation has been initiated by the Ararat regional investigative department, and the identity of the injured party is still being determined.
