Earthquake Recorded in Armenia
An earthquake was recorded 14 km north of Kajaran city.
On July 15, at 10:52 AM local time (06:52 AM GMT), the seismic network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia registered an earthquake in the Armenia-Nakhchivan border zone, located 14 km north of Kajaran city, with geographical coordinates of 39.27° North latitude and 46.10° East longitude. The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.5 and occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The intensity of the tremors in the epicentral zone was measured at 4-5 points. The earthquake was felt in the cities of Agarak, Megr, Kajaran, and Kapan in the Syunik province, with a magnitude of 4.
