On July 10, an accident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Tigran Virabyan, a 40-year-old resident of Shirak Province, crashed his Honda vehicle bearing license plate 006 LL 01 into a concrete barrier on the 58 km stretch of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, in the administrative area of Bazmaberd, under unknown circumstances. According to news reports, hours after the accident, T. Virabyan sought medical assistance at the Armenia Medical Center with a diagnosis of 'left wrist fracture injury.' It has been reported that the injured T. Virabyan is the Deputy Executive Director of Public Television and the Chief Producer of the station, and prior to this role, he served as the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan.
