Accident in Lori Region Involves 'PAZ' Bus and 'Opel', Resulting in Fatality and Injuries

Today, July 6, an accident occurred in the Lori region, resulting in 1 fatality and 3 individuals injured. This information was reported by shamshyan.com.

It is noted that around 09:00 on the 2nd kilometer of the Spitak-Gyumri highway, near Shirak street number 144, a collision took place between a 'PAZ' bus, driven by 50-year-old Artak H. from Lori region, and an 'Opel' car, driven by 35-year-old Taron A.

As a result of the collision, a passenger in the 'Opel', 28-year-old Zarouhi P. from Lori region, died at the scene, while other passengers in the 'Opel'—30-year-old Hambardzum P., 21-year-old Samvel A., and 8-year-old Norik S.—were hospitalized with injuries at the Spitak Medical Center.

The Spitak Investigative Department has initiated a criminal case regarding the incident. By order of the investigator, the vehicles have been moved to a special storage area maintained by the Spitak police.
