Large Fire in Yeraskh Village: Nearly 2000 Hay Bales Burned, Concerns Raised About Missing Child
On June 23, a significant fire broke out in the Ararat region. At approximately 19:05, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call reporting that animal feed was burning in one of the houses on Raffu Street in Yeraskh, with concerns that a child may be trapped in the burning hay.
Firefighters, patrol officers, police, and local villagers not only fought to contain the spread of the flames but also conducted search operations to locate the child. Fortunately, within a short period, the child was found in a nearby stack of hay.
The fire destroyed around 2000 hay bales. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
