Two Armenian Boxers Representing Russia Win at BRICS Games
Armenian boxers representing Russia, Volodya Mnatsakanyan (48 kg) and Andrey Peglivanyan (57 kg), have emerged victorious at the BRICS Sports Games held in Kazan. Both athletes secured their wins in the finals against representatives from Uzbekistan.
Armenia is also participating in the BRICS Sports Games, achieving 1 gold and 6 bronze medals. Suren Harutyunyan (karate, 67 kg) has won gold, while Gor Nersisyan (karate, 84 kg), sambists Arsen Khanzhyan (98 kg), Artur Manukyan (64 kg), and ushers Jirair Petrosyan (52 kg), Arsen Baghdaryan (60 kg), and Davit Vardanyan (65 kg) have all claimed bronze medals.
