Which Roads Are Closed in Armenia
The Emergency Situations Service reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia. A partial collapse has occurred in the pedestrian section of the bridge near the village of Getapnya in the Ararat region, resulting in the suspension of traffic across the bridge.
According to the Road Department Foundation, the Vanadzor - Alaverdi - Ayrium - Bagratashen highway is passable only for passenger vehicles. Drivers are advised to avoid the M-6 road when heading to the border with Georgia and to use the M-3 Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-RA border and M-1 Yerevan-Gyumri-RA border inter-state highways instead.
The M-4 Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-RA border highway is passable from Dilijan to Ijevan. However, in certain sections, traffic is one-way.
The bridge leading to the villages of Khachatarak and Lusahovit is closed in both directions.
