A Border Guard Soldier Injured in Mine Explosion: What Is His Condition?
The National Security Service of Armenia reports that on June 6, 2024, a contract soldier of the border guard troops, Sergeant Narek Sergeyevich Gareginyan (born in 2000), was injured due to a mine explosion near the St. Astvatsatzin Church in the Voskepar community of the Tavush Province.
Narek Gareginyan's life is not in danger. He is currently being transferred to a medical facility in Yerevan.
The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
