Georgia Expels Over 40 Foreigners, Including Armenians

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has expelled 42 individuals from the country in April and May for violations of migration legislation. This was reported by the Georgian Interior Ministry.

According to the statement, during the past two months, the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested 42 citizens; some left the country voluntarily, while others were expelled forcibly.

The expelled individuals include citizens from Armenia, Iraq, Iran, Algeria, Pakistan, Russia, Jordan, Egypt, and other countries. It was also reported that eight minor citizens from Azerbaijan were expelled, having arrived in Georgia without legal grounds and being involved in “various anti-social activities.”
