Residential House Next to Gas Station Catches Fire; Owner in Critical Condition
A residential house located next to a gas station has partially burned due to an explosion. The owner, 33-year-old Gevorg Charkezian, was in the vicinity of the gas station at the time of the explosion. He is currently hospitalized and is one of the two victims in critical condition.
This was reported by Gevorg’s friend, Arthur Gevorgyan, who rushed to assist after hearing the explosion. According to his friend, Gevorg lived in that house with his family and was involved in selling animal feed at the same location. He added, “I was here just two minutes after the explosion, but he had already been taken to the hospital. The children were taken to their grandmother's place; they are all right and were not harmed.”
It should be noted that on June 6 at 23:14, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of an explosion accompanied by a fire at a gas station on the Yerevan-Sevan highway. It was later clarified that the explosion occurred at the “Gaz Oil” gas station located at address 6/1 on the Yerevan-Sevan highway. As a result of the explosion, there are seven victims, two of whom are in critical condition.
