Body of 25-Year-Old Composer Found 70 Meters from Shore
On June 1, at 12:23 PM, the regional emergency management center of Gegharkunik received information that one of the guests at a hotel on the shores of Lake Sevan had been missing for an extended period, although their belongings remained at the location (it is presumed that they drowned in the lake).
From June 1-3, search operations for the missing individual involved two operational groups from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, led by Colonel Galstyan, four combat units from the special water rescue team, three divers, nine lifeguards (two with motorboats), and 17 rescuers.
The search efforts were conducted in the lake, neighboring forests, and meadows, utilizing water and aerial reconnaissance tools, including underwater equipment and a drone.
As a result of the search operations, on June 3, at 11:32 AM, the body of A.M. (born in 1999) was discovered approximately 70 meters from the shore and at a depth of 4 meters.
The scene was attended by the director of the Emergency Situations Agency, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Kamo Tsutsulyan. It was previously reported that the body of 25-year-old composer Anahit Hakobian Manatsakanyan, missing in Sevan, had been found.
