Air Pollution in Yerevan Can Be Monitored Online
Based on data from air quality measurement devices installed in the city of Yerevan and the capabilities of the Guality portal, we have developed an informational platform for "Air Dust Pollution Indicators." This was stated today, June 3, during a working consultation of the Yerevan City Hall by the Director of the Yerevan Center for Management Technologies, Sargis Manukyan.
He announced that the platform will be published today on the Yerevan.am website, where the locations of air purity sensors installed in the capital and their recorded results will be visible.
Manukyan explained that the platform indicates that dust levels of up to 12 micrograms per cubic meter of air are considered not hazardous, 12-35 micrograms represent an average level, and over 35 micrograms indicates a high level of dust content.
Mayor Tigran Avinyan also mentioned that dust sensors will be installed in all administrative districts, and the activities of construction operators will be monitored, allowing residents to check the quality of the air in the capital at any time.
