Former Deputy Police Chief Levon Yranosyan Released from Prison under Amnesty
The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction has just announced the verdict in the case of former Commander of the Police Forces, Levon Yranosyan. Yranosyan was found guilty and sentenced to four years in prison; however, he was released from serving his sentence under an amnesty.
Yranosyan faced charges under Article 179, Part 3, Clause 1, Article 314, Part 1, and Article 308, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
