Trump Ready to Declassify Documents on Kennedy Assassination and September 11 Attacks
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that if re-elected to high office, he is prepared to declassify materials related to the assassination of the 35th president of the United States, John F. Kennedy, the September 11 attacks in 2001, and the Jeffrey Epstein case. During an interview with Fox News, a reporter asked whether Trump was willing to restore American public confidence in agencies such as the CIA and FBI by lifting the secrecy marks on the documents pertaining to these cases. The former White House chief responded positively to all three matters.
Additionally, Trump mentioned that while he was in office, he declassified “numerous materials” related to the Kennedy assassination case. The political figure also stated that he has “several names” he would like to see as U.S. Attorney General if re-elected and confessed that he made several wrong decisions regarding the candidacies for the Attorney General position during his tenure.
The U.S. presidential elections are set to take place on November 5. Trump has already garnered the required number of delegate votes to be nominated by the Republicans for the presidency. Incumbent Joe Biden, who is running for a second term, has also received sufficient support from Democratic delegates. Therefore, the contest will take place between the same candidates as four years ago, when Biden won against the seeking re-election Trump.
