Nikol Pashinyan is on the run, says Archbishop Mikayel Achapahyan
The authorities know what fascism is; they probably do not understand that this is how movements are labeled. This was stated by Mikayel Archbishop Achapahyan, the leader of the Shirak Diocese, during a conversation with reporters in Sardarapat, addressing the question of why the authorities consider the Sacred struggle as fascist.
“There is no fascism here,” he emphasized.
In response to a journalist’s remark about Nikol Pashinyan not coming to Sardarapat, Achapahyan commented: “He is on the run. A coward always avoids confrontation; if he weren't a coward, he would meet. A liar speaks falsehoods; he has said another lie. This person used to say that Artsakh is Armenia, and that’s it, but now he doesn’t even mention Artsakh, acting against history. The Republic of Artsakh has existed for 30 years, yet he remains silent about it.”
Regarding Pashinyan's comments that at least two CSTO member countries helped in the war against Armenia, Mikayel the Archbishop emphasized: “Where was he looking? Why didn’t he say this earlier? Why didn’t he resolve this issue behind the scenes? He himself is helpless and unwilling.”
