This is an Encouraging Event: Aliyev

Currently, the process of defining the borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan is underway. We are witnessing the first positive results of this process. This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the ceremony for the commissioning of the Khudafarin Hydroelectric Power Station and the inauguration of the 'Giz Galasi' hydropower plant built on the Araks River, alongside Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

Noting that this is an encouraging event, Aliyev emphasized, 'Because this inspires hope that, after a long hiatus, a peace agreement can finally be concluded between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We welcome Iran's support on this issue.'
