They Should Be Sued: Bishop Bagrat
In response to journalists' inquiries, Bishop Bagrat explained what followed his report of a crime to the National Security Service and the Prosecutor's Office. It is noteworthy that slanderous remarks had been directed at Bishop Bagrat by government and pro-government circles, prompting him to file a report on the crime. According to the Bishop, no action has been taken and the slanderers have not been held accountable.
“They should be sued for being inactive. The people who have slandered us have not been brought to justice. I am stating this officially right now. I know that Mr. Abazyan is listening, and the Prosecutor's Office is listening. I have filed a report about a crime. Those people should simply be held criminally liable for slander,” he said.
Bishop Bagrat urged media outlets to disseminate his message, adding that he is also willing to meet. “I have no other means to reach out. If they want to meet, they are very welcome to come. If they do not want to, I am stating this through this channel,” noted the Bishop.
