Person Accused of Large-Scale Fraud Extradited to Germany, Prosecutor's Office
A person accused of committing large-scale fraud by a criminal organization has been extradited to the competent authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany. This information was announced by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.
It is noted that the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, has accepted the request from the competent authorities of Germany.
As part of the discussion regarding the extradition request, cooperation was also carried out with the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (Eurojust) on the German side.
It is worth recalling that earlier, Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan stated that the ice of the extradition processes with many EU countries seems to be melting, in contrast to the United States. She mentioned that this is a process based on mutual trust, noting that there is enough trust with European countries for cooperation to proceed via electronic mail.
