The Fact of the Search for Armenian Officials Has Not Been Confirmed, Says Chief Prosecutor
Statements from the Azerbaijani side regarding the search for Armenian officials are being verified, but the fact has not been confirmed. This was announced today by the Chief Prosecutor of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, during a session of the National Assembly.
Vardapetyan stated, "The constantly voiced claims concerning searches are subject to regular monitoring and verification by the Prosecutor’s Office. All the international resources we have for understanding whether a search exists or not do not confirm the fact through all our channels."
According to her, these statements may have a manipulative nature, aimed at provoking similar announcements from the Armenian side.
