VIDEO: Mars Research Mission in Armenia Concludes
Six analog astronauts have emerged from isolation and, for the first time in the past month, stepped out of the analog space station.
Armenia's selection as a testing site for the analog space station is not coincidental; the region's landscape strikingly resembles the surface of Mars. During the half-month program, the astronauts conducted 15 experiments, engaged in rock collection, and cultivated 'microgreens.'
Although this specific group of analog astronauts does not plan to venture into space, the results of their research on Earth will significantly contribute to future space expeditions. Interestingly, the astronauts were nourished by chocolates 'cultivated' in Armenia.
Now, the Armenian team is actively preparing to participate in an analog forum scheduled for September 2025. For more details, refer to the video.
