Peskov Declares That Relations Between Russia and NATO Have Reached Direct Confrontation Level
Relations between Russia and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) have reached a level of direct confrontation. This was stated to reporters by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
“In fact, these relations have now descended to a level of direct confrontation. Indeed, NATO countries and the alliance itself are already involved in the conflict in Ukraine. NATO continues its course, expanding its military infrastructure towards our borders,” Peskov said.
The press secretary of the President of Russia also described NATO as a “destabilizing factor on the European continent that does not contribute to security.”
