Are There Plans for Communication Between Putin and Macron? Peskov Responds
There are currently no plans for a conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron, but the Russian leader remains open to dialogue. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the President of Russia, in response to a question from TASS.
“President Putin continues to be open to dialogue. He actively engages in international communication with those interested in developing relations with our country. Putin is always open to dialogue on complex, sometimes very difficult global and regional issues,” Peskov said.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu had a phone conversation with French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu.
