Russian Nationalism Does Not Exist in Nature, Says Patriarch of All Russia
Russian nationalism does not exist in nature, and no one should fear it, said the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Kirill, commenting on recent events in Crocus.
“Let no one intimidate us with Russian nationalism. Russian nationalism does not exist in nature; everyone knows that. However, speaking about the importance and role of the Russian people in the maintenance of our multi-ethnic country, I believe is an important topic; we must also engage in dialogue,” he was quoted by RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Patriarch Kirill stated that the criminals in Russia had attempted to use the terrorist attack in Crocus to “exploit internal issues related to the migration situation, exacerbating interethnic relations in our country, including with the help of radical Islamist elements.”
