Spirzian Among the Top 10 Most Expensive Football Players in the Russian Premier League

Eduard Spirzian, midfielder for the Armenian national team and Russian club FC Krasnodar, has been included in the list of the most expensive players in the Russian Premier League (RPL) for the current season, according to Transfermarkt.

According to Sputnik Armenia, Spirzian shares the 2nd to 4th places with Claudinho of FC Zenit St. Petersburg and his teammate Matvei Safonov, with each player valued at €18 million.

The top spot in the rankings is held by another Zenit player, Wendel.

In the current season of the Russian Premier League, the Armenian midfielder has participated in 19 matches, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists.

Spirzian is a product of FC Krasnodar and was born in Russia but decided to play for the Armenian national team in February 2021. His contract with FC Krasnodar runs until 2026.
