France Prepares Military Contingent to Send to Ukraine, Narishkin Says
According to the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, France is preparing military personnel to send to Ukraine, with an initial troop count of around 2,000, said the agency's director Sergey Narishkin.
"According to the information received by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, a military unit is already being prepared to be sent to Ukraine," the agency's press office stated.
Narishkin noted that "in the initial phase, the conversation is about 2,000 personnel." He added that "French military personnel are concerned that such a significant troop contingent cannot be transferred and stationed in Ukraine unnoticed, thus it will become a primary legal target for attacks by the Russian armed forces."
