99.01% of Protocols Processed: Percent of Russians Who Voted for Putin Revealed
Vladimir Putin leads the presidential elections in Russia with 87.33% of the votes, according to data published by the Central Election Commission after processing 99.01% of the protocols.
The incumbent president and self-nominated candidate, Vladimir Putin, has garnered 87.33% of the votes. Nikolai Kharitonov, head of the State Duma Committee for the Development of the Far East and Arctic (CPRF), received 4.31%. Leonid Slutskin, president of the Liberal Democratic Party, garnered 3.19%, while State Duma Deputy Speaker Vladislav Davankov from the 'New People' party achieved 3.79%.
The Federation Council has scheduled the presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting took place over three days, from March 15 to 17.
