Call to Avoid Distorting Reality with False Intrigues: Artsakh Information Headquarters on Publications Regarding Samvel Shahramanyan
Some media outlets are once again targeting the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh, attempting to tarnish the good reputation of President Samvel Shahramanyan and engaging in slander instead of addressing the vital issues faced by forcibly displaced Artsakh Armenians. This statement has been issued by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
"We call on these media outlets to refrain from publishing unverified information, to avoid distorting reality with false intrigues, and to mislead the public. We find it necessary to remind that President Shahramanyan has approached the relevant law enforcement bodies of the Republic of Armenia back in November 2023, requesting that the publications about the apparent crimes and possible abuses committed by officials, circulated by some users on social media, be considered as reports of crimes and investigated according to the law. We again urge that if there is information regarding possible abuses by officials of the Republic of Artsakh, it should be reported to the law enforcement agencies of Armenia," the statement reads.
