Erdogan Denies Armenian Genocide: Netanyahu
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected criticism from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who compared the Israeli authorities to Nazis in light of the situation surrounding Gaza. According to Netanyahu, all of Israel's actions are legal.
“Israel, which adheres to the laws of war, will not heed Erdogan's moral sermons, who supports the murderers and rapists of the terrorist organization Hamas, denies the Armenian Genocide, kills Kurds in his country, where regime opponents and journalists disappear,” Netanyahu wrote on X.
Earlier, Erdogan had once again criticized Netanyahu and his government for their military actions against the Palestinian radical group Hamas in Gaza, claiming that the authorities of the Jewish state have committed crimes against humanity in Gaza, thus placing them in the same ranks as Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, according to Turkey's leader. At the same time, the Turkish president reiterated his support for Hamas and the Palestinians.
