An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 has occurred in the southeastern region of Iran. This information has been reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
According to their statement, the epicenter of the underground tremors was located 50 km northwest of the city of Fanuj, which has a population of approximately 13,000. The earthquake's focus was at a depth of 10 km.
There are no reports of casualties or destruction at this time.
