Putin Speaks on the Possibility of Nuclear Weapons Use

Russian President Vladimir Putin has delivered his annual address. He stated that the overwhelming majority of Russians support their special operation in Ukraine, saying, "We will not allow anyone to interfere in our internal affairs."

Putin also discussed relations with the West. "Everything the West concocts truly threatens to escalate into the use of nuclear weapons in conflict, which would mean the destruction of civilization," he stated.

He emphasized the importance of international relations, noting, "Without a sovereign and strong Russia, no stable world order is possible." Putin mentioned that Russia is ready for dialogue with all countries to create a new framework of equal and indivisible security in Eurasia.
