Shoigu Reveals Ukraine's Military Losses Since the War Began

Since the beginning of 2024, the daily losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amount to more than 800 personnel and 120 pieces of equipment, according to Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.

He stated that since the onset of the special military operation in 2022, the Ukrainian army has lost over 444,000 soldiers. "As a result of the decisive and active actions of our troops, the combat potential of the Ukrainian armed forces is decreasing," he concluded during a meeting of the military department's board.

Earlier, President Zelensky had reported that Ukraine had lost 31,000 soldiers during the two years of military conflict with Russia.
