Azerbaijan Opens Fire Towards Armenian Positions: Armenian Defense Ministry

The statement from the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan claiming that on February 24 at 12:45, units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia allegedly opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions in the eastern section of the border is not true.

At the same time, the Armenian Defense Ministry reports that on February 24 at around 12:30, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire towards Armenian positions located in the Upper Shorja area (Gegharkunik Province). Fire was opened from an Azerbaijani position located at the following coordinates: 40°05'31.68" N 45°52'51.44" E.
