Armenia Has No Other Chance but to Live Peacefully with Azerbaijan, Says Speaker of Turkish Parliament
Armenia has no other chance but to live peacefully with Azerbaijan. This statement was made by the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, as reported by APA.
Kurtulmuş noted that Azerbaijan seeks to normalize relations with Armenia. He emphasized that the issue between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not related to the Armenians living in Armenia, but rather to the Armenian diaspora in Europe and America, as well as to circles that do not wish for peace in the region.
"The region of Karabakh, which was under Armenian occupation for 30 years, was liberated in 44 days," he pointed out. The remarks made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan regarding his acceptance of this were met with significant dissatisfaction, especially from the Armenian diaspora.
"Armenia has no other chance but to live peacefully and in harmony with Azerbaijan in this region," he concluded.
