Artsakh President Sends Critical Decision to Nikol Pashinyan: New Developments
The newspaper "Zhoghavorud" reports that the campaign against the President of Artsakh, Samvel Shahramanyan, and his circle has deep roots. According to information obtained by "Zhoghavorud," in the last working days of 2023, Samvel Shahramanyan sent a decision to Nikol Pashinyan to annul the document concerning the dissolution of the Republic of Artsakh, thereby declaring that the Republic of Artsakh exists de jure.
To verify the credibility of this news, the media outlet also contacted the press secretary of the Prime Minister, Nazeli Baghdasaryan. However, she was on a trip with Nikol Pashinyan to Paris and did not respond to calls.
Naturally, the decision made by Samvel Shahramanyan and the step of sending it have outraged Nikol Pashinyan and his team members. They believe that recognizing and handing over Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan could save the 29,800 square kilometers of territory of the Republic of Armenia, but they have not succeeded in that either. Moreover, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev continues to make new territorial claims against Armenia, including 8 villages and other enclave areas, and since 2021 has kept approximately 127 square kilometers of Armenian territory occupied near Syunik and Gegharkunik regions.
In other words, by sacrificing Artsakh, Armenia has gained nothing but lost more. There are orders to tighten the ring around the President of Artsakh as much as possible, and in the near future, we will witness various targeting actions.
