Deputy Prime Minister on Release of Azerbaijani Man Arrested at Armenia's Request
Armenia will take action regarding the Azerbaijani assassin arrested in Moscow at its request and later released. This statement was made by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan during a conversation with journalists.
“I am confident that actions will be taken, but I do not want to go into further detail right now,” he said. According to him, a collective discussion on the matter is necessary. “Let’s not jump ahead; we will talk when there is an official response,” Grigoryan noted.
It is worth recalling that Kamil Zeynalov, the Azerbaijani coach arrested in Moscow at Armenia's request, has been released through the efforts of the Azerbaijani government. An international warrant has been issued against him for murder. Zeynalov, who beheaded an Armenian in Artsakh in 2020 and posted a photo of it on his social media, was apprehended at Domodedovo Airport. In July 2020, he had called on his compatriots to attack Armenians in Moscow and other locations.
