Agreements Must Be Documented: Khostanyan
Discussions are underway regarding a meeting between delegations led by ministers on the text of the peace treaty. This was announced by Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Khostanyan, who noted, however, that no decision has been made yet.
Addressing the issues hindering the peace process, Khostanyan stated, “I cannot assess what is hindering the Azerbaijani side, but I can reaffirm that the Armenian side is interested and continues to be willing to resolve its relations with Azerbaijan.” In response to the question of whether the Azerbaijani side has an interest, he said, “The fact that a meeting took place in Munich can be considered positive. But we must move from meetings and discussions to more practical actions. The agreements reached over the last 2-3 years on three principles must be formally documented.”
