No Response Again: How the Section on the Artsakh War Was Removed from the Ministry of Defense's Official Website
Gegam Manukyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction, addressed the issues raised during today’s meeting of the National Assembly’s Defense and Security Committee: 'I responded to Andranik Kocharyan’s recent statement that we, the opposition, do not speak about the situation at the front line because we see the ongoing work. My response was that we do not speak to avoid jeopardizing our security and revealing secrets. I was compelled to publish a section of a lengthy letter addressed to Suren Papikyan that related specifically to the ruling party's deputies.
Once again, I received no clear answer from the representative of the Ministry of Defense regarding how, for the past two years, the section about the Artsakh War, which is considered the roots of our Armed Forces, has been removed from the Ministry's official website and when it will be restored. Ultimately, the Deputy Minister could not answer why the program to provide new equipment for the army in 2024 has failed. It remains unclear when this program will be implemented.'
