A Historic Opportunity for Peace Has Emerged: Turkish Foreign Ministry
A historic opportunity for peace has emerged in the South Caucasus after the war. This statement was made by Mehmet Samsar, head of the South Caucasus, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe department of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, during his speech at the 27th Eurasian Economic Summit. The information was reported by Azerbaijani media.
He noted that taking advantage of this opportunity would mark the beginning of a new era for our region.
“In this context, we anticipate the prompt signing of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We believe that there will be no obstacles to the normalization of relations between our country and Armenia with the completion of the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” he stated.
