NATO firmly supports the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was stated by Javier Kolomina, the NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, on his microblog on platform X.
“It is indeed very important for Armenia and Azerbaijan to meet again at a high level and agree to continue negotiations on the signing of a long-term peace treaty. NATO firmly supports the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” he wrote.
It is noteworthy that yesterday, a tripartite meeting took place in Munich between German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
