US to Send Seized Russian Assets to Estonia for Use in Ukraine
The United States will send seized Russian assets to Estonia for use in Ukraine. This was announced on Saturday by a representative of the Justice Department at the Munich Security Conference, according to Bloomberg.
It is noted that this is the second time Russian assets have been provided to Ukraine, and the first time Washington is transferring such assets to a foreign ally with the explicit aim of assisting a country that has been invaded by President Vladimir Putin's army two years ago.
Previously, US Attorney General Merrick Garland announced the first transfer of seized Russian assets to Ukraine, which belonged to Russian billionaire and founder of the 'Tsargrad' channel, Konstantin Malofeev.
