China Warns Ukraine Over Relations Due to Company Designations
China has warned Ukraine that bilateral relations may suffer due to Kyiv's designation of Chinese companies as "sponsors of terrorism." This was reported by Reuters, citing Ukrainian sources.
It is reported that Beijing conveyed this message back in December of last year during a meeting between the Chinese ambassador in Kyiv and senior Ukrainian officials. The ambassador stated that this entire situation regarding the listings could negatively impact our relations, according to the media source.
It is noted that Ukraine has added 48 companies to its list of "international sponsors of terrorism," 14 of which are from China. China had previously opposed the inclusion of Chinese companies in this list.
