Putin Talks About Russia and Belarus Relations
The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, while discussing the relations between Moscow and Minsk, stated that the situation is developing with great vigor, with trade amounting to $42 billion and continuing to grow, according to RIA Novosti.
“Overall, the situation is evolving very actively. In the first ten months of last year, our trade volume, according to our data, amounted to $42.5 billion when expressed in dollar equivalent, and it is continuously increasing,” he said during a meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
Putin noted that the Russian Federation is the largest investor and has invested $4 billion in the Belarusian economy.
