Iran's Foreign Ministry Issues Statement
Iran and Pakistan will not allow their fraternal relations to be disrupted. This was announced by the official representative of Iran's Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanani. The information was reported by Mehr.
Kanani strongly condemned the armed action by unidentified militants in the Saravan suburb of the Sistan and Baluchestan province in southeast Iran on Saturday morning, which, according to preliminary reports, resulted in the deaths of 9 Pakistani citizens and injuries to 3 others. He extended condolences to the Pakistani government and the families of the victims.
The spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry noted that the investigation into the incident is still ongoing by Iran's judicial and intelligence authorities.
