1.2 Million Dollars Stolen from Crashed Russian Aircraft in Afghanistan

Last Sunday, $1.2 million was stolen from a crashed Russian Falcon 10 aircraft in the mountains of Afghanistan. This was reported by Hasht e Subh, according to lenta.ru.

According to the portal, the first group of people to approach the wreckage had some connection to the Taliban's armed forces chief of staff, Kari Fasihuddin Firat.

After learning about the theft, the Taliban provincial governor of Badakhshan, Mohammad Ayub Khalid, appointed a commission to investigate what transpired in the crashed aircraft. It has been confirmed that the investigation is led by the head of Taliban intelligence in the province.

The Falcon 10 business jet crashed in the mountains of Afghanistan, with the crew of four rescued, but two passengers, entrepreneurs Anna and Anatoly Yesyukov, did not survive. The Russian Investigative Committee has labeled the preliminary cause of the incident as a malfunction of both engines.
