What Incident Occurred at Yerevan's Misak Manushyan Secondary School No. 48: Clarification
Information has circulated online that on January 23, two students at Yerevan's Misak Manushyan Secondary School No. 48 assaulted their 70-year-old physical education teacher, striking him in various parts of his body. The incident took place in the changing room when the teacher noticed students smoking inside and, intending to reprimand them, stated he would call their parents to inform them of what they were doing. In response, the two students attacked and beat him.
To clarify the information, Auroranews contacted the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In a brief conversation, they indicated that no report had been received by the police, and law enforcement is investigating the circumstances of the publication. The City Hall's press service also informed Auroranews that the information regarding the assault does not correspond to reality. One of the teachers noted that the students were using electronic cigarettes. The issue has been reported to the principal. The students claimed that their parents were aware of their use of electronic cigarettes, and that was the end of the incident.
