Nine UN Workers Killed in Gaza
Nine people have been killed and another 75 injured in an artillery strike on a UN facility for Palestinian refugees located in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. According to reports from RIA Novosti, this was announced by the agency's director, Thomas White.
“During the attack on the Khan Younis educational center, the building, housing 800 people, was hit by two tank shells. There are 9 fatalities and 75 injuries,” White stated.
Earlier, the director of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees had reported that another strike had been carried out on the center in Khan Younis, where 10,000 displaced persons had taken refuge.
